| VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT |

All our volunteer placements are designed to give volunteers the opportunity to make an impact on local communities at grassroots level. Volunteer will have a chance to interact with local groups and organizations working in community development including schools and health sector.
Regardless of the community you reach out to, you will be learning, experiencing while helping the people help themselves through your volunteer action. Volunteer work includes:
- Youth counseling and leadership skills training
- HIV/AIDS Intervention and Outreach Worker
- Work with street children at SYSC centre
- Teaching Assistant or teach English, crafts, music or arts in elementary, secondary schools. You do not need a teaching certificate, but you need to be enthusiastic, committed and creative
- Sports- training soccer and basket ball
- Information technology (IT)
- Computer operations trainer
- Community Development Worker
- Work with women self-help group to research, help to plan and develop social and economic development initiatives
- Nursing
- Building, construction and renovation of school facilities
- Health education
- Environment protection and conservation
- Small business management training
- Farming
- Youth theatre and arts
- Work with community based organization to establish a community resources centre, assist in research, to create health education, career development, and entrepreneurial skill, environment conservation and community development.
- Vocation skills training – computer, desk publishing and tailoring.
